The comprehensive classroom package
The LessonCam is a PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) camera that integrates with our all-in-one classroom sound system, the Juno. The LessonCam mounts to the Juno and connects to the USB port on the teacher’s computer and the teacher wears the pendant microphone. When the teacher speaks or plays a video from the computer, their voice and audio are amplified in the classroom and heard by the remote students.

Effective remote-only or hybrid classroom learning
LessonCam engages students more effectively because it allows teachers to be more dynamic. The LessonCam shoots in HD and has a 12x optical zoom, so teachers are free to stand in front of a flat panel display or whiteboard, pan to another part of the room, or zoom in for a closeup of a hands-on demonstration. Our LessonCam Control Software has programmable preset buttons that allow the instructor to quickly guide the view of learners to their most common presentation areas while teaching with ease.

Much like a document camera, LessonCam is an instructional classroom-only camera that is not directly connected to a network. The camera is designed to capture lessons and lectures for sharing or streaming to online learners. Only the teacher in the room can control LessonCam. LessonCam has clear signals to indicate when it is in use.

The LessonCam simply connects to the teacher's computer via a USB cable. When the teacher speaks or plays back media, the sound is amplified for intelligibility inside the room. While crystal clear audio and detailed video is captured and shared with remote students. The camera is controlled via a simple-to-use app interface on the teacher's computer.
